Bannon is an official endorser of the Pro-Human AI Declaration, which seeks a halt to superintelligence development until a broad scientific consensus and public backing exist. Sanders is one of Washington’s fiercest opponents of AI, aligning two political adversaries against the risk of the technology threatening human control.
