Cognition’s annualized revenue run rate has officially crossed $1B, an achievement that roughly doubles the financial trajectory the startup recorded early in the year.

The growth was driven by rapid corporate adoption of Devin, an autonomous AI software engineer that can write code and manage technical tasks. Cognition credited the milestone to its customers, who are using the agent to automate development workflows and build their own software tools.
