Developers can now access the Devin AI software engineer at a lower cost after Cognition implemented a series of price reductions across its service tiers. The tool is 30% to 40% cheaper in Fusion and Normal modes and 15% to 20% cheaper in Ultra, while pricing for Devin Review fell by up to 70%.

The cost cuts coincide with a performance increase, with Devin Fusion now ranking first on the FrontierCode 1.1 Extended benchmark. The company reported that intelligence was maintained or improved across every operational mode despite the reduced pricing.
