A San Francisco research lab used automated software to oversee the daily functions of several web based storefronts, providing each with its own financial tools for supplier transactions. Coreauto equipped these systems with debit cards and cloud infrastructure to update landing pages and respond to customers. The tools struggled with high level strategic decisions, such as finding alternative vendors when inventory was depleted, often opting for refunds instead of sourcing new products.

The lab is recruiting four Associate General Manager interns this winter to manage these autonomous ventures in its California office. By pairing human operators with the agent infrastructure, Coreauto aims to identify the precise gap between routine task execution and the complex reasoning required to grow a company.
