Dyna Robotics Debuts Taku Robot With First 1 Hour Uncut Autonomous Workflow
β–Ά

A semi-humanoid agent performed a series of laundry tasks without human intervention in a demonstration recently published by Dyna Robotics. The robot, known as Taku and running the Dyna-2.1 model stack, spent an uncut hour loading machines, starting wash cycles, and shelving towels in a hotel setting. Dyna Robotics claims the system is the first physical agent to achieve reliable super long-horizon whole-body autonomy, utilizing a parallel vision-language model to monitor surroundings so that physical movements do not pause during cognitive processing.

The system was pre-trained on 1M hours of ego data to handle complex real-world workflows. In testing, the agent demonstrated the ability to recover from disruptions, such as reverting a washing machine to the correct cycle after a person manually changed settings and pushed the robot's hand away. The company describes the release as a combination of new semi-humanoid hardware and an agentic framework designed for ultra-long real-world workflows.
