The provider of Falcon rockets intends to position high-density GPU clusters above the atmosphere within the coming year to expand artificial intelligence processing capabilities. Elon Musk stated he is "highly confident" that the Nvidia Vera Rubin NVL72 AI computers will be operational in space by 2027. The deployment will create an orbiting AI compute infrastructure to handle high-performance workloads.
