Adam Asadovsky joins the legal AI startup Harvey to oversee its research efforts after co-leading post-training at Microsoft AI and Google DeepMind. He previously served as a Corporate Vice President at Microsoft AI, where he led the post-training for the MAI-Thinking-1 reasoning model. Asadovsky steps into the role of Chief Research Officer to help the company scale its professional intelligence tools.

The appointment brings an executive who led teams at Google DeepMind developing Gemini 1.0 through Gemini 2.5. His career at Google also encompasses leadership roles in Search Infrastructure, Search Quality, and Assistant. Gabe Pereyra noted that the hire is intended to assist in building frontier intelligence for the professionals and institutions the company serves.
