Hewlett Packard Enterprise will provide AI infrastructure to the cloud services company Vultr using new hardware developed by AMD. The purchase is worth $1.2 billion and marks the first order for the AMD Helios AI Rack platform. Vultr stated that AI demand "continues to outpace available capacity," providing a first real-world proof point for the scalability of the Helios architecture.
HPE shares rose 4.2% premarket as the company raised its networking revenue growth guidance for FY27 to high-teens to low-20s% and its cost synergy target from the Juniper acquisition to $800 million annually by FY28, up from $600 million. Data center networking is projected to lead growth with a low-to-high 50s% CAGR through FY29, while the overall networking segment is forecast for a high-teens CAGR in the same period.
