Enterprise developers can now equip AI agents with durable, secure memory and a sandbox file API to better handle corporate data. These features are part of LangChain's Managed Deep Agents 0.8 update, announced at the Interrupt conference, which also introduces HTTP channels for custom service triggers to improve scalability for business users.

The latest release includes a partnership with p0 to integrate parallel search functionality, enabling agents to retrieve information more efficiently. LangChain also added scheduling capabilities using cron expressions, which allows proactive agents to execute automated tasks in the background without manual prompts.
