1 Modal Launches BYOC 2.0 for Private AI Agent HostingPVT:MODL 🤖 AI Oct 1, 7:58 PM EDT 3/3
Developers can now keep sensitive customer data within a secure Modal account when using Niteshift's cloud coding agents. This update, called BYOC 2.0, allows agent workloads to run inside the Modal security perimeter, whereas the first version of the service required workloads to operate within a user's AWS account. The platform is currently available in Private Beta for companies wanting to process production data without storing it outside their account.
Modal claims it is the only cloud provider to offer high-end products for both sandboxing and inference, which it identifies as the most important primitives for AI agents. Some customers are already using the Niteshift and Modal integration to resolve production issues and optimize their internal agent stacks using real-world data.
