Nvidia and OpenAI Executives Join Trump at White House AI LunchNVDAMETAPVT:ANTHPVT:OPAI

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Anthropic's Dario Amodei are among the industry leaders meeting with President Trump and House Speaker Mike Johnson on Tuesday to discuss the balance between AI innovation and oversight. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and OpenAI President Greg Brockman will also attend the White House luncheon. Brockman is representing OpenAI as CEO Sam Altman remains on the West Coast for the company's DevDay event.

Speaker Johnson has rejected calls for a development moratorium or strict limits on AI, stating the U.S. would lose its competitive edge to China under such regulations. Amodei's inclusion in the Tuesday meeting follows a private dinner with Trump on Monday, a reversal of earlier plans to exclude him. Johnson indicated the Department of Justice may oversee the industry if developments go awry, but he urged AI companies to regulate themselves to maintain innovation.
