The DSX Platform will now be led by Chris Malone, who focuses on the construction of AI data centers for customers using specialized hardware. In his new role as Vice President at Nvidia, Malone guides clients in architecting infrastructure around the company's AI chips. He previously spent several months as the head of data centers at OpenAI, a position he left in August.

Malone joined OpenAI in early 2025 after the launch of Stargate and had previously managed data center infrastructure for both Meta and Google. The appointment indicates a shift for Nvidia toward more direct involvement in the data center ecosystem.
