Plus and Pro subscribers can now use their monthly model allotments in software from 16 launch partners, including Notion and Vercel, through a new 'Sign in with ChatGPT' authentication process. This system allows users to bring their own limits into third party apps, drawing from their existing OpenAI quotas instead of paying for separate licenses to access models within those tools.

The integration is live for the Zed AI agent and for Devin across its Cloud, Desktop, and CLI versions. Other active partners include the Nous Portal's Hermes Agent and AmpCode, which now provides its service for free to eligible subscribers. Developers have described the shift toward shared subscription limits as a critical advantage for the third party AI assistant ecosystem.
