The GPT 5.6-Luna model is seeing increased performance on the GAIA, FreshQA, DeepSynth, and WideSearch benchmarks after integrating a new search utility. Tempo released the tool, called Mercator, to provide AI agents with a global search engine and a simplified funding mechanism. This new onramp enables users to purchase operating credits via Apple Pay with any bank card to facilitate stablecoin experiences.

Tempo is offering $5 in free credits to users who connect their X or GitHub profiles to the platform. The company has also invited the developer community to test Mercator using Qwen and other open source models to verify if performance gains are even stronger across different architectures.
