1 Meta Gives Every Muse User Free Cloud Computers to Power AI Agents 🤖 AI Sep 24, 11:38 AM EDT 28/20
The company is deploying individual Linux virtual machines as dedicated runtime environments for all members of the Muse platform. These isolated "runtime cells" allow members to install their own software, write code, and access a full file explorer for transparency. The system uses the Muse Spark 1.3 model and a Chromium-based browser to automate web tasks, including reading pages and filling out forms via a specialized browser sub-agent.
A separate security layer called the Sentinel manages sensitive credentials and oversees actions to mitigate prompt injection risks. Meta trains future iterations of the AI using sanitized conversation trajectories that remove personally identifiable information. This infrastructure accompanies the announcement of new VR glasses weighing 100 grams and costing $1,299 for a spring 2027 release, alongside a keychain-sized device known as Muse Charm.
