Amazon Web Services will provide the underlying cloud infrastructure for SAP's artificial intelligence tools across India and Japan as part of a new global rollout. The agreement extends the reach of the SAP Business AI platform to Brazil, Canada, South Korea, Malaysia, and the UK to complete a 7 region expansion.

The 5 year strategic collaboration aims to give enterprises local access to SAP business software on AWS infrastructure. This arrangement puts the AI stack closer to corporate customers while AWS manages the infrastructure underneath the SAP Business AI platform.
