Cipher announced 1.1 GW of conditional Base Load and 2.1 GW of conditional Studied Load after discussions with transmission service providers. The base load encompasses the Colchis and Stingray sites, while studied load includes Mikeska, Apollo, Stingray Phase II, and McLennan. Sites at Mikeska and Apollo are Provisional Controllable Load Resource qualified for 1.4 GW, which enables power consumption before the transmission buildout is finished, subject to curtailment by the Electric Reliability Council of Texas.

Energized capacity includes Barber Lake, Black Pearl, and Odessa, totaling 807 MW, while the Reveille and Ulysses sites have received interconnection approval. Cipher recently began developing gas laterals to support these load designations and will share final determinations in December following a comprehensive audit.
