Chirantan "CJ" Desai has stepped down as President and Chief Executive Officer of MongoDB to become Meta's Chief Enterprise Platform Officer. The resignation takes effect immediately and occurs one day before MongoDB is scheduled to hold an investor day. In his new position, Desai will oversee Meta's enterprise platform and report directly to a senior executive.

Desai previously led product and engineering at Cloudflare and spent nearly 8 years at ServiceNow, including terms as President and Chief Operating Officer. Meta cited his track record in AI, infrastructure, business applications, and security as the basis for his appointment to lead the enterprise effort.
