1 NEWParamount Scouts Nashville Space to Leave California After 100 Years Over $111 Billion Deal 💼 Business Sep 16, 3:30 PM EDT 12/10
Corporate representatives for Paramount Skydance are surveying Tennessee real estate for new headquarters to relocate a portion of their current Los Angeles workforce. The search for Nashville office facilities and multi-acre lots follows a legal struggle over the company's $111 billion merger with Warner Bros. Discovery and an antitrust suit led by California Attorney General Rob Bonta. CEO David Ellison has signaled the firm is prepared to depart the state after more than a century in Hollywood if regulators do not reach a settlement.
Attorney General Rob Bonta's office declined to comment on corporate plans, stating only that it remains open to good faith discussions while applying the law. This relocation effort aligns with a broader presence in the region for the Ellison family, as Oracle, the company controlled by Larry Ellison, is currently constructing a large new campus in Nashville.
