Lockheed Martin and General Dynamics secured contracts to accelerate the delivery of critical components for high altitude defense systems. The 7 year agreements increase production quantities for the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) and Patriot Advanced Capability-3 Missile Segment Enhancement (PAC-3 MSE) interceptor programs.

The Pentagon aims to scale output to ensure the military meets its delivery schedules for the interceptor systems. These deals establish a long term production framework for the two defense contractors to supply critical missile subcomponents.
