Production at the oil company's Illinois refinery is now running at full levels following a successful restart of the facility. ExxonMobil confirmed that the outage's end returns 11 million gallons per day of diesel and gasoline capacity to the market after a power failure halted operations for nearly two weeks.

The disruption pushed gasoline and diesel prices in the Great Lakes region up by nearly 65c/gal. Retail prices in Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, and Wisconsin will continue to fall as the impact unwinds, though the BP refinery in Whiting, Indiana, remains partially offline for maintenance.
