Chinese refineries have suspended the delivery of oil products to every region except Hong Kong and Macau after receiving instructions from Beijing. This policy has forced the immediate halt of several gasoline and jet fuel outflows scheduled for the current month, and the restriction remains in place until further notice.

The measures seek to safeguard domestic fuel supplies during and after the Golden Week holiday, which lasts until October 7. State oil major PetroChina cancelled the majority of its October cargoes on Wednesday, according to four people briefed on the matter.
