Persistent disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz are currently obstructing energy shipments to several global markets. Qatar has extended its force majeure on liquefied natural gas cargoes to Pakistan through November and to other customers across Asia and Europe for an additional month, preventing the normal flow of fuel to these regions.

The measure comes as energy flows through the critical waterway remain hampered, making it impossible for the producer to fulfill its shipping commitments. The extension specifically targets deliveries to Asia and Europe while instability continues in the narrow shipping lane.
