Saudi Arabia has increased its September oil exports to the highest level recorded since the beginning of the war. The rise in outbound volume has exhausted all available slots for ship-to-ship oil transfers in the Gulf of Oman, creating a logistical bottleneck for tankers in the region.

This congestion follows a surge in shipping activity that has pushed transfer capacity to its operational ceiling. Vessels are currently unable to find additional space for movement between ships as the kingdom maintains elevated export levels throughout the month.
