U.S. diesel prices reached an all time high of $6.51 per gallon per AAA, and Russia plans to extend a ban on most diesel exports beyond September. In a Truth Social post, Trump stated that a large number of Russian refineries are out of commission and estimated that 25,000 people are killed each month in the conflict. Zelenskyy responded that Ukraine would consider de-escalation if Russia stops targeting Ukrainian energy, food, and civilian infrastructure.
