US Forces Secure 1 Billion Barrel Oil Flow After Clearing Hormuz Minesβ†©οΈŽ

Admiral Brad Cooper of U.S. Central Command announced that more than 2,000 vessels have transited the Strait of Hormuz under American protection. The removal of mines from the main shipping lanes enabled the movement of over 1 billion barrels of crude oil out of the waterway over the last couple of months.

Iran has exported zero barrels of crude oil since the maritime blockade was reinstated, according to the Sept. 19 update from CENTCOM. The operation ensured that primary crossing corridors remained open to commercial traffic to maintain energy flows despite regional tensions.
