Senator Chuck Grassley urged President Donald Trump to embargo diesel exports to combat the price surge, which hit $6.57 in Iowa. The current rally exceeds records set in 2022 and impacts the operation of trucks, ships, and farm equipment, while retail gasoline prices rose 8% over the same period.
