Non-U.S. investors now have 24/7 onchain access to investment strategies issued as digital tokens by Ondo Finance. The release includes seven model portfolios, featuring three curated by BlackRock targeting high-income, diversified growth, and high-growth objectives. These "Intelligent Portfolios" hold baskets of stock, bond, and bitcoin ETFs, marking the first time BlackRock has designed investment portfolios specifically for tokenization by another firm.

BlackRock, which manages $13T in assets, utilized self-executing software to automate the purchase of underlying ETF shares as investors buy the corresponding tokens. Token holders can transfer assets, trade them via crypto wallets, or borrow against them, though they will not hold direct shareholder rights in the underlying securities.
