The ownership records for investment fund shares issued by BTG Pactual are being mirrored on the XRP Ledger through a collaboration between Ripple and Brazil's central securities depository CSD BR. This initiative involves the tokenization of fund shares to create a digital duplicate of records to streamline how the depository tracks securities ownership.

CSD BR plans to expand the scope of the XRP Ledger network to other asset classes in subsequent phases. The depository noted that future additions to the system could include the issuance and trading of agribusiness receivables and real estate assets.
