A signature breach on the Ethereum network allowed an attacker to seize $1.56 million in FET assets and mint an additional $452,000 in NTX tokens. Security firm Blockaid identified the activity as an ongoing exploit that targeted a Fetch.ai converter inventory and the NuNet Global deployer account.

The theft resulted in a total loss of approximately $2.01 million across the affected cluster. Blockaid tracked the stolen funds to exploiter wallet 0x1572...c362, which received the unauthorized NTX mint immediately after the initial FET drain began on Sept. 19.
