30 of 35 tracked validators have backed a new amendment to the XRP Ledger that permits atomic settlement of bundled transactions. The Batch V1.1 upgrade, which allows up to 8 operations to be grouped into one, ensures that interdependent transfers and fees either succeed entirely or revert simultaneously, removing execution hazards that previously hindered traditional firms from using public ledgers. Activation occurs if validator support remains above 80% through late September.

RippleX, the developer branch of Ripple, said commercial projects are already in development to facilitate institutional asset management and cross-border settlement via the new feature. This update eliminates leg settlement risks to provide native atomic finality, a requirement for asset managers currently preparing for the ledger's payment upgrade.
