Users can now trade non-expiring derivative contracts for cryptocurrency and equities through a new partnership between the retail investment app and Bitstamp. The product, known as perpetual futures, is rolling out to customers in the United States via the main interface and Robinhood Derivatives.

The initial offering includes 8 assets with up to 10x leverage, which removes the requirement for traders to roll over positions to avoid expiry. This structure differs from the 5 year perpetual-style futures provided by Coinbase, and the company intends to broaden access to the service over the coming months.
