Investors continued to increase their exposure to digital assets through U.S. exchange-traded funds during the middle of the week. Combined net inflows into spot Bitcoin and Ether ETFs reached $452M on Sept. 23, with Bitcoin funds attracting $347M and Ether funds drawing $105M. BlackRock’s IBIT led the Bitcoin group with $166M in net inflows, while its ETHA fund accounted for $50.8M of the ether activity, extending the positive streak for Bitcoin ETFs to five consecutive days.
The rally follows a peak on Sept. 21 when Bitcoin ETFs recorded $999M in a single day, the largest amount since October 2025, coinciding with Bitcoin hitting a multi-month high of $86,000. That price spike triggered $1.08B in total crypto liquidations. Morgan Stanley’s MSBT fund has also emerged as a consistent buyer, recording $32.4M in Bitcoin purchases on Sept. 23 and maintaining no outflow days over the last 20 sessions.
