Non-enterprise accounts must provide a physical security device to verify their identity before accessing advanced cyber-capabilities within the Daybreak Blue system. The requirement, which takes effect Oct. 1, aims to ensure the authentic identity of the account holder and is part of a strategy to accelerate the capabilities of security defenders, according to company official Thomas Sottiaux. Enterprise users are exempt from the new mandate.

The security measure applies to the recently upgraded Codex Security Cloud, which integrates cyber-capable models to automate the detection of vulnerabilities. The tool scans entire GitHub repositories and reviews commits to investigate and deduplicate flaws, preparing fixes for review even when a user's computer is powered down. These features are available as a plugin for the Codex desktop and web applications.
