Tim Cook and Sam Altman will travel to Washington next week for a formal meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping. The executives from Apple and OpenAI will join the guest list for a White House state dinner hosted by President Donald Trump to honor the Chinese leader.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang will also be in attendance, according to sources familiar with the matter. President Trump said he will discuss a wide range of topics with Xi, including whether to allow Chinese automobiles into the U.S., and noted he is not concerned that the trip will be canceled later this month.
