Maros Sefcovic is coordinating with the US and other international partners to stabilize the procurement of essential raw materials. The EU trade chief is pursuing increased cooperation with these allies to protect supply chains and prevent the weaponization of critical minerals.

Sefcovic is also advocating for structural reforms within the G20 and the World Trade Organization to tackle excess industrial capacity. These efforts are part of a broader initiative to secure raw material flows through established global trade frameworks.
