U.S. Ambassador to the UN Mike Waltz joined the respective foreign ministers at a New York summit to coordinate the upgrade of relations. The deal formalizes a higher level of bilateral ties and follows previous military cooperation between the two nations, including joint training exercises using Israeli-made robots.
