International corporations are being urged by Palestinian representatives to scrutinize their partnerships with businesses linked to Israeli settlements. Ibrahim Khraishi told the UN Human Rights Council that any enterprises cooperating with firms on the UN’s database should review those relationships. A report from the UN human rights office released last Friday identifies 158 companies, including 61 newly added firms such as Expedia, Altice, Airbnb, and Motorola.

The overall UN database now tracks 214 companies across 11 countries, including Booking and TripAdvisor. In the latest update, the UN removed seven companies, including eDreams and Opodo, after finding reasonable grounds to believe their involvement in the specified activities had ceased. The Kohelet Policy Forum described the list as groundwork for "economic warfare" and urged Israel to engage Washington on anti boycott laws to protect domestic companies from sanctions.
