The Internal Security Agency and Central Police Bureau of Investigation have seized control of a telecom site in central Poland following a fire on September 23. The facility in Wola Krobowska is operated by Exatel, a state-owned company, and serves as a Starlink ground station transmitting internet traffic across Poland and to Ukraine. Deputy Prime Minister Krzysztof Gawkowski stated the blaze was a deliberate attempt to disable the hub as an element of hybrid warfare. The fire destroyed the site's power generator and supply infrastructure, though systems are now fully operational.

Police are treating the incident as arson, and Gawkowski noted that the attack fits a broader pattern of sabotage threats against critical national infrastructure. While security services are investigating the circumstances of the event, the Polish government stated it is too early to determine who was responsible for the fire.
