Netanyahu was accompanied on the mission by his wife, the director of the Mossad, and the head of the National Security Council.

The UAE state news agency confirmed the visit on Monday, marking the first time since normalization in 2020 that Abu Dhabi has publicly acknowledged the Israeli leader's presence. During the trip, Netanyahu held meetings with laederhs from the UAE and other Gulf states—including representatives from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Morocco, and Libya—to coordinate against Iranian aggression. Flight tracking data showed government aircraft from several of these nations, some of which lack formal relations with Israel, landing in Abu Dhabi concurrently with the prime minister's jet.
