The Israeli military forced a displaced family to evacuate on foot after rioters disabled a security vehicle in the West Bank village of Jalud overnight. Troops and Border Police officers intervened as more than 100 settlers breached the Tubasi family's home and engaged in "severe violence," forcing the residents to flee to the roof for safety. After extracting the family from the building, security forces transported them to the village of Qusra while settlers torched the family's houses and vehicles.

The violence occurred after a High Court ruling ordered the army to secure the return of the Tubasi family, who were forced from their property in July following harassment. Settlers blocked roads with stones and attacked security forces, lightly injuring 3 Border Police officers. Police have since detained 3 suspects—an 18 year old and two minors aged 15 and 17—and seized vehicles containing balaclavas and a club during the investigation.
