Ukraine's president has requested that the US government sanction companies developing 'Rassvet,' a satellite internet network backed by Moscow and Beijing. Volodymyr Zelenskyy asked Donald Trump to block the system's progress to prevent it from becoming a viable competitor to Starlink, according to the Financial Times.

The request targets firms involved in the joint Russia-China project to establish an independent satellite communication infrastructure. Zelenskyy's appeal seeks to use US economic pressure to disrupt the development of the rival network.
