Preliminary tallies from the Central Election Commission place the ruling party ahead of its competitors in the race for Russia's lower house of parliament. United Russia holds 57.54% of the State Duma vote in early data, while voter turnout topped 56%. These official figures exceed exit polls from VCIOM and INSOMAR, which projected the party's support between 49.4% and 52.8%.

The Communist Party followed in second place with 14.2% to 14.8% of the vote in exit polls, ahead of the LDPR, New People, and A Just Russia. This contest represents the first parliamentary election since Russia's 2022 invasion of Ukraine. The anti-war Yabloko party was banned from participating in the vote.
