Third Point headed a new investment into the AI cloud services firm to help it scale operations and expand its GPU clusters. Nscale secured $3.36 billion in convertible notes, with $2.36 billion available at closing and an additional $1 billion commitment from Nvidia due in mid November. These instruments will automatically convert into equity once the company completes its listing on the New York Stock Exchange, with Nvidia receiving non voting shares.

The company reports more than $103B in total contracted value across its AI infrastructure platform, which includes power facilities and liquid cooled data centers. This capital injection serves as the final private funding round before the company's shares begin trading publicly.
