Local businesses can now integrate their operations into an end-to-end drone delivery system featuring purpose-built autonomous aircraft called DoorDash Air. The new framework includes the necessary infrastructure and delivery orchestration to allow the platform to scale drone transport across its network of merchants.

Users will soon be able to order meals from partners like Chipotle through AI and receive them via these autonomous drones in minutes. This integration marks a shift toward highly automated logistics to reduce delivery times for local commerce.
