NEWSolidigm Plans $150B IPO for Largest Ever US Semiconductor Listing

Solidigm held pitch meetings with investment banks this week to discuss roles for a prospective US market debut as early as 2027. The initial public offering could raise about $15 billion and value the chipmaker at up to $150 billion, Reuters reports. Such a listing would be the largest semiconductor IPO in US history, supported by growth in NAND memory and enterprise SSD demand for AI data centers.
SK Hynix established the subsidiary after acquiring Intel's NAND and SSD operations for roughly $9 billion. The South Korean parent company is also exploring the construction of a US NAND manufacturing plant, with upstate New York reportedly under consideration as a site for the facility.
