Joint Direct Attack Munitions, Small Diameter Bombs, and hydra rocket pods were recently tested for physical compatibility on the YFQ-44A Fury drone. Anduril also fit-checked the airframe for low-cost cruise missiles, and integration of the Barracuda 500 is currently underway. These steps build on previous live-fire successes with AIM-120 AMRAAM air-to-air missiles to expand the aircraft's weapon options.

The selected air-to-ground weapons have not yet entered flight testing, leaving a gap between the hardware fit check and demonstrated operational capability. Anduril is engineering the Collaborative Combat Aircraft to flex between air-to-air and strike mission sets based on formation requirements. This versatility ensures the production FQ-44 platform does not remain a single-purpose asset in crewed-uncrewed teaming operations.
