Ship 41 has moved to the launch pad at Starbase and completed wet dress rehearsal and full stack testing for a flight scheduled for Monday. The mission will put the first 26 Starlink V3 satellites into orbit, which expands the total bandwidth capacity of the Starlink constellation by approximately 3%.

The deployment allows a select group of maritime customers with the $2,000 Starlink Performance Gen 3 kit to reach gigabit speeds by December. This update will effectively double the data throughput for those specific seafaring users.
