Senate Candidate Ashley Hinson Urges End to Iran War After 6 No Votes

Representative Ashley Hinson proposed a series of energy measures, including the suspension of the federal gas tax and a pause on diesel exports, to lower fuel costs. The Republican Senate candidate urged the reinstatement of a $1 per gallon biodiesel tax credit and the creation of a diesel relief program for farmers and truckers to provide immediate economic relief.

Hinson also called for the Iran war to reach a "successful and immediate end" after voting No 6 times on House resolutions directing President Trump to conclude the conflict, including one last week. She described the war as "thousands of miles away" and "out of sight, out of mind" for many Americans despite its effect on pump prices and the deaths of service members.
