President Donald Trump traveled to Mobile, Alabama, to support candidates including Senator Tommy Tuberville, Rhett Marques and Jerry Carl at a campaign event at the University of South Alabama. The president urged supporters to imagine he was on the ticket to maximize voter turnout and returned to the site of his first major mega-rally from 2015. The appearance followed a return to the White House at 3 AM the previous night.

The visit, the third in 25 hours, included traveling on Air Force One with ally Laura Loomer, whom critics such as Mehdi Hasan described as an "unhinged" presence. While reports from HQ News Now mentioned hundreds of empty seats, others noted thousands of students cheered throughout the 75 minute speech. Trump will visit at least 10 states before the midterms, coinciding with claims from a local food bank that aid requests have risen due to eligibility changes under the administration's recent legislation.
